We have an active Patient Participation Group (PPG) which meets quarterly. The PPG comprises a group of patients and GP practice staff who meet to discuss practice issues and the patient experience to help improve the service.
The purpose of a PPG:
- To allow patients and practice staff to meet and discuss topics of mutual interest.
- To provide a means for patients to become more involved and make suggestions about the healthcare services they receive.
- To explore issues from patient surveys, contribute to action plans and help monitor improvements.
- To contribute feedback to the practice on patient survey results by proposing developments or changes.
- To support health awareness and patient education.
The PPG is open to every patient on the GP practice list and aims to have a broad range of representatives from different community groups, genders, ages, ethnicities, and disabilities.
- There are no other membership requirements except that patients must be registered with the practice.
- We currently have a full cohort of individuals but if you would be interested in joining in the future please fill out the form below and we will contact you in due course.
